The Village – Member consent form

The following are the terms of members of The Village community:

The Village carer community is a paid membership community for connection with others who are carers. It provides support with wellbeing and connection with people who are caring out caring roles and responsibilities.

As a member of The Village Carer Community you agree that everything shared by members within the community – in person, online and in The Village members platform will stay confidential and not be shared outside of those spaces.

Resources provided within this community are for access for you as part of The Village Community and are not for sharing, reproducing or reselling with anyone else.

Your subscription to The Village community provides you with access to the online resources and app for as long as your subscription is active. Once your subscription ends your access to these resources will cease.

You are not permitted to share your log in details or provide access to this community to anyone else.

You understand that this is not therapy. This is a community for connection with other carers and resources to support you to look after your wellbeing. It is up to you to use these if you wish and you take responsibility for your own wellbeing when doing so.

You understand that safeguarding is paramount to ensure the safety of you and others within the membership and wider community. Should anything be shared which is of concern to the membership Co Ordinator then safeguarding actions will be taken in alignment with Joanne Sims Wellbeing policy and procedures.

By joining The Village carer community you are stating that you are fit and well to be an active participant and have no issues that will prevent you from being part of the community.

For us to ensure you can be supported within the community and also ensure the safety for all the members please inform us if you have any medical conditions that we need to be aware of - mental, physical, emotional or otherwise. If this applies to you please contact me at [email protected]

Should your circumstances change regarding your health it is your responsibility to inform me at [email protected] and we can discuss the suitability of this group for you at this time. Should it be felt that this group is not suitable for you then your membership may be paused or cancelled which results in removal from the community.

Likewise, you can cancel your access and membership at any time by sending your request in writing to [email protected].
