Affirming care matters always - not just during Pride month but beyond
Pride Month isn’t just a celebration — it’s a reminder of how vital it is to feel seen, heard, and accepted for who you truly are. It means being accepted and seen for who you are no matter how you choose to express your identity and who you are.
That’s the heart of person-centred counselling: holding space for you and your unique story without judgment, labels, or assumptions.
In my practice, I work with people from all sectors of the community including the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. The aim of working is not to “fix” anything, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of what matters most to you.
No matter what it is that is challenging for you right now. I'm here to support you in a space that you can feel safe in to share whatever you need to.
The best place to start any journey is one in which you feel comfortable to proceed forwards and this happens when you feel accepted, not judged or unwelcome.
This month especially, I want to say:
You’re not too much.
You’re not alone.
You deserve to be met with care that is respectful and honours all of who you are, no matter where you're at or where you're headed.
