Workshops for professional development

Introducing a series of workshops for 2026 for professionals working with SEND families, informed by clinical practice, an understanding of statutory child protection processes, and lived experience as a parent carer. The first two workshops are:

Workshop 1: Working alongside SEND families. This workshop will support professionals in understanding the parent-carer perspective, fostering stronger working relationships, and reducing misunderstandings, tension, and system fatigue.

Workshop 2: Supporting SEND families within the child protection process. Explore the additional vulnerabilities SEND families face and learn practical, relationship-focused strategies to work in a trauma-informed, proportionate way.

These workshops are designed for professionals in health, education, social care, and related sectors.

Increased understanding and insight lead to better co-working and better outcomes for families and professionals.
