Counselling for adults

I specialise in working with families of children & adults with additional needs and disabilities, providing you with the space you need to process, navigate, deal with trauma & begin healing, no matter what stage of life you're at.

Working with SEND parents (special educational needs and disabilities) but also wider family members like grandparents, friends and also other professionals such as teachers or care staff, may also have feelings which they need to express and may need help.

Perhaps you've experienced a traumatic experience along your path which is impacting your life and functioning, and you're finding it hard to cope, even if it's been some time since that event. Maybe you're finding your unique parenting journey hard and navigating some big emotions, or have some big decisions to make.

Know you don't need to do this alone.

Working together, you have a space to say all the things that you may be unable to say anywhere else and know they can be left in the session.

You are the expert in your life, and in counselling, we work together to establish the next steps of your journey, to identify what you need.

Whether it's the echoes of past experiences or the uncertainty of the future, I'm here to help you navigate it all.

In this confidential space, your concerns, aspirations and fears take centre stage and are at the forefront of everything we do together.

Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and can be delivered face-to-face or online, depending on client preference.

Counselling can be very beneficial for a wide range of issues, some of which include improving relationships, reducing stress, increasing confidence and much more.

I'm registered with the National Counselling Society and fully insured to make sure that you are provided with the very best service.

Sessions are payable in advance and each week going forward. To begin with, clients are required to pay the assessment fee and the first session in advance, and then the sessional price ( day or evening rate) per session ongoing.

There is a 10% discount for blocks of counselling ( minimum of 6 sessions) payable in advance.

The world needs more people who can help, so to support those training to become qualified counsellors, there is a discounted sessional rate available for any student counsellors up to the end of their level 4 training.
